* Collaborate with mentor on the benefits of Quality Education

* Resolve problems in the school using new concepts and methodological tools

* Incorporate the new readings and research into constructive tools necessary to improve basic educational services from a team-based approach.

 

* Currently pursuing course on “Quality in Basic Education” (March 7th – May 27 2005) by Organisation of American States

* Able to use new readings and research material in group discussions

* Conduct research on chosen pieces in order to utilize pieces that are both age and level appropriate

 

 

* Completed one-day intensive workshop: Tuesday 22nd March 2005: conducted by the Caroni Regional Education District

* Reflection with other teachers on the workshop

* Select sample pieces for students’ performance

* Demonstrate the correct tone and voice modulation necessary for Choral Speaking

 

* Demonstrate the correct breathing techniques

* Discuss poems to identify tone, mood and theme

* Recite poems to demonstrate knowledge of tone, mood and theme

* Participation in upcoming Choral Speaking Competition
